THE CORVETTE SHOP The Corvette Shop restores and repairs C1 to C6 Corvettes, but they are passionate about making Corvette's perform even better than they were originally designed. Increasing horsepower is priority one at the shop, and they developed the C5 - 8.1 liter engine swap. This is a big block engine conversion that replaces the original small block while retaining the stock appearance of the vehicle, including the stock hood. CREATIONS N’ CHROME We know that many of our members will be able to use CNC's services to chrome props, set pieces, vehicles or whatever your heart desires for television, motion picture and your own personal projects. The CNC process is very unique because they can chrome any surface, from metals to plastics, etc. They have already performed work for our industry when they chromed the large 28 foot long Neuraliyzer Pods for Men in Black 3 as well as doing some work for our members at Amalgamated Dynamics (Studio ADI). CURTIS CUSTOM CLASSICS Curtis Custom Classics is a company committed to restoring or customizing classic vehicles. CCC specializes in Rolls Royce custom conversions, as well as street rod, muscle car and stock vehicle restorations. The picture above shows the 1974 Rolls Royce "Super Shadow" that Curtis and his wife Nancy brought to our Annual Car Show at CBS Studio Center on July 4, 2012. The car won one of our Ten Best Of Show Awards, but there is so much more to this vehicle than its Rolls Royce nameplate might imply. This Rolls Royce underwent a 502 cubic inch General Motors crate engine transplant. No detail was overlooked. Even the custom wheels were made to look like stock Rolls Royce rims, but they aren't. These wheels are taller and wider than OEM but still maintain that stock look. Curtis also leases his collection of vehicles for television and movie productions. DRAG CARTOONS - MPC Pete Millar was a great drag racer, brilliant cartoonist and a best friend to those who knew him. We lost Pete on February 28, 2003 but his work lives on.
