On Saturday April 17, 2021 Dustin Troyan (the owner of Connected Media Group and founder of the world famous Supercar Sunday) organized a very Private “Cars & Coffee” event at Lavaggio (the Art of Auto Detailing) in Agoura Hills, California.

This was the first event at Lavaggio since the pandemic began more than one year ago. The attendees adhered to Covid-19 protocols, including the wearing of face masks, social distancing, fist or elbow bumping taking the place of handshakes and hugs, and plenty of extra face masks if anyone forgot to bring theirs. There was also an abundance of disinfecting gels, so you could disinfect your hands throughout the event.

Due to the pandemic, attendance was limited to just 30 vehicles and their owners. Pre-pandemic events at Lavaggio held up to 70 vehicles, so this was less than half that number, but that did not lessen the enthusiasm of the participants or the incredible display of rides that were on hand, with classic and modern American Muscle, a brand new Shelby GT500, a time attack Nismo GTR, a new Acura NSX and some beautiful Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s (like an 812 Superfast and a $3.5 million dollar La Ferrari).

The event was a huge success and everyone enjoyed getting together after an entire year of lockdowns here in California. We are thankful that the number of Covid-19 cases are dwindling nationwide and we hope this means the return of more frequent events not only at Lavaggio but all over the United States and around the world in the months ahead.

A special thank you to Dustin Troyan for organizing the event, the team at Lavaggio for hosting it, and all those who took the time to display their rides. It was wonderful to get together after so much time apart.
